The aim of Dublin SportAbility Day is to put a focus on the inclusion of peopl e with disabilities in sport and physical activity in Dublin and nationwid e. This event will promote disability sport organisations\, National Gover ning Bodies and local clubs and organisations that are offering inclusive opportunities and adapted sports.
\nDublin SportAbility Day will t ake place on the 16th of October 2022 in Sport Ireland’s National Indoor Arena\, Blanchardstown\, Dublin from 11am-3pm. It will be a highly interactive day including pract ical “Come and Try” sessions delivered by National Governing Bodies of Spo rt\, educational workshops\, demonstrations\, and information stands from Dublin based clubs and organisations that are already offering inclusive o pportunities.
\nDublin SportAbility Day is suitable for people wit h a disability\, parents\, teachers\, sports coaches\, youth club leaders\ , students\, volunteers and anyone with an interest in sport for people of all abilities.

Some of the National Governing Bodies attending and providing Come and Try sessions include Vision Sport Ireland \, Special Olympics\, IWA- Sport\, Tennis Ireland\, Swim Ireland\, Golf Ir eland\, Basketball Ireland\, Rowing Ireland\, Orienteering\, Badminton Ire land\, GAA\, Powerchair Football\, Cricket Ireland\, Hockey Ireland\, Tria thlon Ireland\, Boxing\, Boccia and more.
