Child Safeguarding
In 2017 the Dublin Diocese launched a safeguarding handbook for parish safeguarding representatives. This was followed in 2018 by a safeguarding handbook for parish clergy and more recently a safeguarding handbook for staff & volunteers. Unlike the first two, this handbook also includes vulnerable adults. It is envisaged that hard copies of this will be distributed to all parish staff & volunteers who attend training in the future.
