Annual collection for Crosscare
The annual collection for Crosscare takes place throughout the Dublin Diocese this weekend Saturday 31st August and Sunday 1st September 2019.
Crosscare look after the needs for Community, Homeless and Youth services. Last year Crosscare saw almost 1,000 people accommodated in their homeless services and at the same time they helped 78 families and over 100 individuals move into their own homes. Through their food banks and meal services, over 175,000 meals were distributed to those in need and 14,000 parcels of food were delivered to families. Over 4,000 young people were supported through Crosscare’s Youth Work service through voluntary youth clubs and summer projects. 400 teenagers and their families found the help and support they needed in Teen Counselling.
